Discuss Sony's super giant in the making. Will you buy one, do you want to buy one, is the design appealing, does it hurt your eyes to look at? Feel free to add your true feelings.

sony's products don't appeal to me. that's a real shame, There have been some great games on Sony consoles in the past. By shielding yourself from Sony products, you're missing some great third and first party games.

You should buy a PS2 when the PS3 is released, that is, if you don't already have a PS2...buy games like Kingdom Hearts, Burnout Takedown and Burnout Revenge, Tekken 5, Metal Gear Solid 2,3, etc.

the ps3 is going to be expensive. not much more than the other two consoles...I've heard PS3 is selling for roughly $400...each unit is worth $500, but sony is going to sell them at $400 to remain competitive...so they'll lose $100 for each unit sold, but they'll make this money back through game sales.

true but still in my situation I'm not earning enough $ but hopefully I'll have a higher paying job I don't even have a job, but I find the money to buy my games. Nothing comes between me and my games I'll work like a dog in the freezing cold to make a few bucks if it'll make me enough money for something I want. All I do is yardwork around my house, splitting and stacking fire wood and junk like that...it's a good workout too

[glow=darkred,8,300]Ummm, double post? Ah well. I'd get one, but only when I get enough money, and when a Final Fantasy or rpg of equal quality comes out for it. Hee, I'm a FF fanboy.[/glow]

I'm excited about it. I'm going to wait for a price cut though. I wasn't excited about the PS3 until I saw MGS4.
