Hahaha, I had a chance to see the Doom movie starring The Rock. Now don't start second guessing yourself, I'd never pay to see it at the theater, I simply borrowed a bootleg copy from a friend. Anyway, It was about as good as I expected, which wasn't too good. I'll just throw out a brief review and you can judge for yourselves. Acting: 5.5/10 -Now I'm not saying nobody in the movie could act...I'm just saying they didn't show any proof that they could. Sound: 7/10 -Not many ways you can get too low of a rating in the sound department. The music seemed to flow decently with the theme of the movie. Effects: 8/10 -One aspect of the movie that was actually decent. For the most part the movie sucked, but it had its moments, like seeing the BFG used in action, or the interesting first person view. Story: 5/10 -Using a pre-existing story doesn't always work, especially if you try to end it abrubtly with a horrible plot twist. The ending of this movie made very little sense to me, but perhaps others understand why it went from a rather slow paced movie, to a fight scene, to a rather abrubt ending within the span of a few minutes. Okay, so that's just my opinion on the movie. See it if you want, don't if you don't want to...but it's your money.

I've seen it as well, unlike you I used a free coupon I do agree with your review, the movie did suck and it totally drove away from what made Doom great.
